Message weather, I'd really appreciate it. Or where I said you should datalog on a daily basis. I remember saying:

"There is no point to check on things daily. If you happen to have days where it goes from 60* to 94* (like today and tomorrow, respectively), then OK, maybe you might want to check things out (still, a street tune to the far extreme that you would have to retune during weather changes is probably pushing it too far IMHO). But during day-to-day driving, not so much." Here, you can even see I quoted myself exactly. To clear any confusion, as there obviously is some, my comment of maybe wanting to check things out if the weather changes that drastically, is saying that I would understand if you looked at a datalog two days in a row for reasons other than tuning/troubleshooting. Understand being the key word.

Seeing that you completely misinterpreted what I said, I'll let you win this one. Obviously your datalogging needs are vastly different than my own, so I should have known to not give my point of view. Even though my experience is backed by close to 4 years with a standalone ECU (OK, 3 with a running car using a standalone), with what appears to be much more datalogging/tuning* than you plan to do, it seems to be completely invalid.

* - Tuning meaning simply adjusting things, while driving on a road, such as fuel and timing maps to hopefully get more power and have a safer running vehicle. In no sense of the word did I mean to pay someone to tune my car with fuel I'll never use on a stationary "road" I'll never drive on for more than a few minutes. I guess "tinkering with the ECU maps" would have been a better phrase.
